Young Womanhood Reognition

The personal progress program uses seven YW values. (Faith, Divine Nature Individual Worth, Knowledge,  Choice and Accountability, Good Works, Integrity and Virtue)  To help you understand more fully who you are, and what you should be doing as a daughter of God to prepare for the day you go tot the temple to make scared covenants. This sometimes takes the full 6 years that the girls are in YW. Rylie got hers while in her 4th year.
Rylie received her YW Recognition award in July. Sorry this is a little late. We are so proud of her and her willingness to do this. It a big deal. She worked hard and learned a lot.

Grandpa Merrill. He is my daddy.

My dad is a man of great faith. He has taught me the most important things in my life along with my mother. He has impacted my life for good. I have great memories of my dad teaching me the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Helping me to become the person I am. He taught me the importance of service when I didn't want to learn it.(picking rye at the church welfare farm was not my favorite)  We had FHE growing up in my family. We had great family road trips to the Church History sites. Dad your a great man and I love you!!

Norah was blessed by her father Jason.

Norah's blessing day was wonderful. Jason's family came for this special day. Jason gave Norah a beautiful blessing. I am so proud of Jessie and Jason and the way they live their lives. To raise Norah is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I really wish that Geoff could of been there. I was sad. Just one more week and he will be home. The beautiful dress was made by my very good friend Lynette Kern.
