Norah Alexis Evans

Brittany and Aly came to visit Jessie and Norah. They took beautiful pictures of Norah. So fun all the pictures this baby is going to have. 

Baby Girl Evans is here. 6 lb 8 oz and 20 inches long!

She is beautiful and Jessie did great. It was fun to watch Jason become a Dad he was darling. Jessie is going to be the best mom ever!!!

Trek 2010 The Fire Of The Covenant Martins Cove

This was my third trek. I guess the Lord thinks I need to learn a lot by sending me on three treks. Well I hope I have learned it because if any of you have been on a trek you know it's not easy.  Scott and I were on the stake level. We were video and camera crew. Great calling! This trek was very different from the rest that I have been on.  I have always gone in July when it's hot. Well we went June 9th-12th. And it rained and it rained and it rained! It was cold we were wet. But of course I loved it.  I had some great spiritual experience. I would not of had had it not rained. Do you think that the earlier pioneers love the rain. NO. I am sure that they prayed harder then I did to have the Lord stop the rain. Believe me I was praying hard. I know that I could get in my warm tent, warm pj's and snuggle up to my dry husband. They had to sleep in their wet cloths.   Some of the froze to death. Wow what a great experience it was  for all of us who went. I am so grateful for our pioneers and all that they did so I can have the gospel in my life. I know that this is God's work and I am grateful to be a part of it.

Saturday was a beautiful day and we had a big group of people over for a swim. So much fun!

Happy Father's day!!

Happy Father's day Scott!!  We celebrated father's day with a vegan meal for Scott. He would love to go vegan. But I am just not that good of a cook. Jessie found this recipe that was vegan so we made it for him. Sooooo yummy and easy. Scott would also love to give up sugar, but that is also a hard thing to do. So what do we give him for father's day. SUGAR!  He also got other gifts that he did ask for. 

What are some of the things that we love about Scott.....

He is a hard worker and takes good care of us. 

He loves to play with us and go on vacation.

He has a lot of wisdom and loves to teach his children.

He loves being with the family and going to the cabin. 

We are so blessed to have him as our father and husband. 

Lucky us!!!! 

Linguine with Uncooked Tomato, Arugula, and Olive Sauce
1 garlic clove, minced and mashed to a paste with 1/4 teaspoon salt

4 fresh plum tomatoes, chopped
1 bunch of arugula, coarse stems discarded and the leaves washed well, spun dry, and chopped coarse (about 1 cup)
6 Kalamata or other brine-cured black olives, pitted and chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, or to taste
1/2 pound linguine

In a large bowl stir together the garlic paste, the tomatoes, the arugula, the olives, the oil, the vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste and let the mixture marinate for 20 minutes. In a large saucepan of boiling salted water cook the linguine for 10 minutes, or until it is al dente, drain it, and while it is still hot, toss it with the sauce. Serve the pasta warm or at room temperature

PG"s Strawberry day parade

Carlie started school at Renaissance Academe Hair Design last 

week and the school was in the parade.

These are a few of the cute girls that she goes to school with. 

She loves it!! 

Liahona Cheerleaders were also in it. Rylie was is Washington DC 

for a super trip with the school. But Jessie was in the parade as the coach. 

It was a lot of fun but really hot!!

My dream vacation in Cabo. So much fun!!

Thank you Jackie and Kirk we had the time of our life. The food was great, the swimming was relaxing, conversations and late night swim so fun, the perfect group. I love Cabo!!

Best thing that happened to me today.....

Geoff and Stacy got engaged! I couldn't be happier!!!
