My dad and I went to see my mother. I miss her. She passed away 15 years ago. She was only 67 years old. My dad has missed her. She was a wonderful wife and mother. My father is 84 years old. He is active and in very good health. I am very blessed to have good parents who love the Lord and each other.

Happy Birthday Mom. I miss you!!
“Motherhood is the greatest potential influence either for good or ill in human life. The mother’s image is the first that stamps itself on the unwritten page of the young child’s mind. It is her caress that first awakens a sense of security; her kiss, the first realization of affection; her sympathy and tenderness, the first assurance that there is love in the world. True, there comes a time when Father takes his place as exemplar and hero of the growing boy; and in the latter’s budding ambition to develop manly traits, he outwardly seems to turn from the more gentle and tender virtues engendered by his mother. Yet that ever-directing and restraining influence implanted during the first years of his childhood linger with him and permeate his thoughts and memory as distinctively as perfume clings to each particular flower.”
David O. McKay

Happy Mother's day!
Before you were conceived, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. When you were born, I saw your face and I knew that I was in love. Before you were an hour old, I knew I would die for you. To this day, I will. This is the miracle of life. I LOVE being a mom!
Jessie
You are who made me a mother. My first. You have always been a beautiful person inside and out. Always wanting to do what is right. Always willing to be my friend and hang out with me. You are an out sanding person, you are hardworking, willing to forgive others, enjoy serving your husband and a great friend to your sisters. The perfect example to Geoff, Carlie and Rylie. I love you and now you are going to make me Grandmother.
Geoff
What can I say, you are my only son. I couldn't be more proud. You have always been a hard worker, you always know what you want and you go for it. You are so much fun to be with and talk to. You are learning the importance of serving others. I see you becoming your highest and best self. You are becoming the most amazing person. I think you are the best Geoff ever! Thank you for the many lessons that I have learned from being your mother. I love you!
Carlie
Wow what a spunky, out-going, hard working, fun and joy you bring to our family. I wanted another baby after Geoff and I prayed and fasted for many years to bring you here. You were worth the wait. I am so proud of who you are becoming. You are one who also wants to do what is right and you are a great example to others. You are much like Geoff. You know what you want and you will go for it with all your might and soul. I love you Carlie!
Rylie
You are the baby. Many say you are spoiled. No more then the rest of them. You are such a joy and peace maker in our family. You love to serve others and always giving in to stop the fight. You reach out to others in need. You feel the spirit often and want to please your Father in Heaven. As well as your earthly parents. You are a friend to everyone and want to make others happy. You are a beautiful dancer. You love to help in the kitchen. You are fun to swim with. I love you Rylie and I am very proud of you!
Mom
You taught me many wonderful things in life. But the most important is to love the Lord and serve my family. You were a mother of great faith. The perfect example of a mother. You were a stay at home mom and I love you for that. I miss you more than you know. Because of you I love the Temple. I love serving there every week and find much peace there. Thank you for being my mother!
Surely no more important work is to be done in this world than preparing our children to be God-fearing, happy, honorable, and productive. Parents will find no more fulfilling happiness than to have their children honor them and their teachings. It is the glory of parenthood. John testified, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”
