Cute Norah and the Snowman

Jessie and Jason went to Park City overnight for their anniversary.  We were so blessed to be able to watch Norah and Clayton over night. It was so fun!! (Love being a Grandma) Scott took Norah outside to play in the snow. This is the cute snowman they made.

Halloween 2012

Norah enjoyed Tricker Treating for the first time. She saw a pretty princess. When you asked her what she was going to be for Halloween she would say "a dress" so cute. Clayton was a cute monkey. The weather was perfect for trick or treaters.

Rylie's birthday dinner

For Rylie's birthday dinner we had her favorite. Steak and mashed potatoes  Lydia was in town so she eat with us. It was so fun. As you can see Norah loved helping Rylie open presents. We love you Rylie you are sweet and precious.

General Conference at the Cabin

A little late but here are some pictures from Conference week-end. We had a great week-end. (except Geoff and Stacy didn't make it because Geoff rolled his truck) When Jason and Scott went to priesthood the girls made these cute Jewelry holders. It was really fun.

I love conference and loved the GREAT new about the age change for missionaries...
I am pleased to announce that effective immediately all worthy and able young men who have graduated from high school or its equivalent, regardless of where they live, will have the option of being recommended for missionary service beginning at the age of 18, instead of age 19. I am not suggesting that all young men will—or should—serve at this earlier age. Rather, based on individual circumstances as well as upon a determination by priesthood leaders, this option is now available.
As we have prayerfully pondered the age at which young men may begin their missionary service, we have also given consideration to the age at which a young woman might serve. Today I am pleased to announce that able, worthy young women who have the desire to serve may be recommended for missionary service beginning at age 19, instead of age 21.
We affirm that missionary work is a priesthood duty—and we encourage all young men who are worthy and who are physically able and mentally capable to respond to the call to serve. Many young women also serve, but they are not under the same mandate to serve as are the young men. We assure the young sisters of the Church, however, that they make a valuable contribution as missionaries, and we welcome their service.
Through this option, more of our youth may enjoy the blessings of a mission.

I served a mission and loved it. How exciting is this news? I have a niece Lacey Gray who is going to go. She will be a great missionary.
